AWCON 2016: Kenya, Cameroon lock horns for Falcons

By Rasaq Oboirien
SUPER Falcons foe in this month's African Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) Kenya Starlets have agreed to play the return leg tune-up game against host Cameroon, reports NaijaSportXtra.blogspot.com.
The international friendly will be played in Limbe.
Recall the East Africans last week informed FECAFOOT that they could not honor the second leg tie due to reasons beyond their control.
Cameroon in Nairobi won the 1st leg by a lone goal.
The Kenya Football Federation (KFF) who had a change of mind has informed its Cameroon counterpart that its delegation will arrived Douala on Friday and will immediately travel to Limbe.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is yet to arrange any quality tune-up games for the coach Florence Omagbemi led Super Falcons.
However, the cup holders could make Omagbemi become the first woman to ever win the AWCON as a former player and coach.
But the will need to go past arch rivals, Ghana Black Queens, Kenya and Mali in the group stage of the championship.
