Remo Stars victory well deserved-Ugbade

NDUKA Ugbade says it's a well deserved victory for his Remo Stars that have no experience in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) as they ended Abia Warriors unbeaten run to record their first victory of the season.
A delighted Ugbade who thanked his lads said in a post-match chat: "It's a deserved victory that the guys who have no experience before in the NPFL have now been able to get their first victory in the league."
"The next thing here is to keep fighting for every match, points and getting wins and draws, this will boost them psychologically to know that there is nothing there."
"All that is there is experience and it can be acquired over a period of time, though we don't have too much of time in a league that is more like a marathon."
Victor Mbaoma's penalty kick was enough to give Remo Stars it's awaited first win of the season against Abia Warriors in the Match Day three of the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL.

I won't owe Remo Stars players, Soname vows

KUNLE Soname has vowed not to owe his Remo Stars players a kobo as the club makes its debut in the Nigeria Premier League which kicks off this weekend.
While addressing the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Ogun State Chapter at the MKO Abiola International Stadium on Thursday, Soname says the country's systemic cheating has refused clubs to pay players salaries, wages and incentives.
"The country's systemic cheating has refused clubs to pay player's salaries, wages and incentives considering the fact that they are still compelled to play without getting their pays."
"Our management will never owe any player salaries or any monetary reward due to them because the players are the actors of the footballing industry."
"We will motivate the actors in order to appreciate them for a job well done in the cause of the upcoming games in the NPFL."

Remo Stars ready for debut season- Ugbade

TECHNICAL Adviser of Remo Stars, Uduka Ugbade (MON) has revealed that his lads are getting prepared for the upcoming Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL season.
The Sky Blue Stars have been in closed camping despite the festive period and are working tirelessly to ensure full preparedness for the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL season.
Speaking of RSFC Media Uduka revealed "We are getting prepared for our debut season in the league because over the existence of Remo Stars, we have not featured in the NPFL. Now we are in the NPFL and we are ready for the challenges in the league".
"There is nothing, we have to face it. We will fight but in fighting, we have to improve our weapons so that we can fight very well".
"We are going to be more astute technically, much more comfortable tactically, so that we can change the game technically and control the outcome tactically at the end of every match."
Ugbade also gave his thoughts about the difference in the number of games that his lads will be playing in the upcoming NPFL season.
"The premier league is like a Marathon but we have to start with the same speed, 38matches is different from 14matches. It is going to be very tedious but we will try to manage the situation as they come physiologically too."
Remo Stars will face Plateau United in week one of the new NPFL season scheduled for the 15th of January, 2017.

Remo Stars will be technically astute-Ugbade

By Rasaq Oboirien
NDUKA Ugbade (MON) says his Remo Stars team will be more astute technically as they kick-off their debut season with a home game against Plateau United, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
The former junior international guided his team to a third place finish at the concluded Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 4 tournament in Gombe State after they beat Gombe United 1-3 on penalties.
"We're are trying to prepare harder going into the season as we have never been in such situation in our history.
"Yes we have qualified to play in the Nigeria Premier League (NPL), so the die is cast for us and we have to face it.
"Remo Stars will fight, but in fighting, we have to improve on our arsenals, so that we can fight very well.
"Improving on our arsenals does not mean we recruit more players, rather we beef us one or two departments with one or two players coming in. But the issue is we'll be more astute technically, more comfortable tactically so that we can control the game technically and control the outcome tactically at the end of every game.
"Because the elite league is like a marathon and we have to start it with so much speed.
"Thirty-eight matches is quite different from 14matches, so it's going to be tedious but we'll try and manage the situation as they come psychologically too."
The Sky Blues will begin their camping with a home game against Plateau United at either the Shagam or Dipo Dina Stadium.
