City await Iheanacho, Nwakali arrival

MANCHESTER City have informed that Flying Eagles duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Chidiebere Nwakali are expected for the Citizen's pre-season tour by the weekend.

This they made known on Thursday hours after Nigeria crashed out of the FIFA Under-20 championship after they lost 1-0 to Germany in the Round of 16.

According to the former English Premier League champions, there were contrasting fortunes for City's FIFA U-20 World Cup representatives on Thursday morning with Portugal progressing but Nigeria crashing out.

Meanwhile, Iheanacho and Nwakali are on their way home after Germany defeated Nigeria 1-0 in Christchurch.
