Oliseh lists Salami, Kwambe for Burkina Faso

SUNDAY Oliseh, has named Warri Wolves duo and CHAN 2014 bronze medalists, Gbolahan Salami, Solomon Kwambe and 17 other Glo League stars for next month’s African Nations Championship final qualifying fixture against Burkina Faso.
Glo Premier League joint-top scorer, Tunde Adeniji of Sunshine Stars, joins Warri Wolves’ Salami, who scored in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Chad; Kwambe, Idris Aloma, Usman Mohammed, Ezekiel Bassey and Bature Yaro in the squad.
Goalkeepers David Obiazor and Okemute Odah, defenders Kalu Orji and Jamiu Alimi, former junior international midfielder Ifeanyi Matthew and forwards Dayo Ojo and Godwin Obaje are also imcluded.
According to the Nigeria Football Federation, all the invited players are expected to report in Port Harcourt on Monday, 4 October, ahead of the first leg clash with the Etalons at the Adokiye Amiesieamaka Stadium on Sunday, 18 October. The return leg comes up in Ouagadougou on Sunday, 25 October.
All six home-based players who will be in Belgium with the full senior squad for the two international friendlies against DR Congo and Cameroon, on 8 and 11 October respectively, will join the 19 players on their return to the country on Monday, 12 October.
These are goalkeepers Femi Thomas (Enyimba FC) and Ikechukwu Ezenwa (Sunshine Stars), defenders Chima Akas (Sharks FC) and Austin Oboroakpo (Abia Warriors), midfielder Paul Onobi (Sunshine Stars) and forward Prince Aggrey (Sunshine Stars).
