Rivers dangle N4million per goal carrot on Eagles

THE Rivers State Government (RSG) has pledged a whopping sum of 20, 000 American dollars (about N3,980, 000) on the Super Eagles on any goal they score in Tuesday's 2nd leg World Cup qualifiers against Swaziland.
Recall the 1st leg meeting played last week Friday ended in a barren draw.
The Rivers State Commissioner for Sport, Hon. Fred Igwe who paid a courtesy visit to the Eagles training on Monday at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium informed of the plan as a means to boosting the players morale.
According to Igwe: "The state government has promised the sum of $20, 000 dollars per-goal scored against Swaziland."
