LMC slam Giwa FC with another N2m fine

.Jos team to pay Rangers N1m
.To offset match officials expenses

THE League Management Company (LMC) have slammed Giwa FC with another N3,650, 000 (Three Million Six Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira) fine for fallind to honour its botched
matchday 12 game against Rangers International of Enugu, reports NaijaSportsXtra.
The Jos team was supposed to play the remaining 16 minutes against the Flying Antelopes at the FIFA Goal Project turf in Abuja on Wednesday, but failed to show up.
In a ruling, the domestic league regulatory body announced on its official twitter handle ‏@LMCNPFL that the private owned club had breached Rule B13.25, so the fines were decided based on Rule B13.55.
"MD 12: Giwa 0 Rangers 1. LMC declare match completed following Jos side's no-show. Giwa FC. to pay a N2,000,000.00 (Two Million Naira) for failing to turn up for match scheduled to be completed yesterday (Wednesday).
"Giwa to pay Rangers N1,000,000.00 to offset expenses incurred when Rangers showed up for the resumption of the botched match.
"In addition, Giwa FC shall pay N650,000.00 to offset expenses of match officials for the game that never was in Abuja.
"Giwa FC may accept; or appeal this decision in writing within 48 hours."
Recall the game was abandoned after some irate fans disrupted the game when the assaulted the match officials as a Rangers were leading 0-1 in the 74th minute.
