EXECUTIVE Governor of Gombe State, HIS Excellency Dr. Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo (Talban Gombe) has approved an advisory committee for the state owned Nigeria Premier League (NPL) team.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by James Pisagih and made available to NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com by the Savannah Scorpions General Manager Media, Tanimu Umar informed that advisory committee is made up five persons.
The 5-man committee will be chaired by a former Senator (Ambassador) Haruna Garba, Alhaji Inuwa Lamido (member), Alhaji Hamidu Yagade (member), Hon. Mohammed Bello Suleiman-Chairman Gombe State Sports Commission while pioneer boss of the GSSC, C.E.O of FC Yarmalight and now, Commissioner Ministry Youth Empowerment, Malam Farouk Yarmalight is secretary.
Recall Gombe United got promoted at the end of the Nigeria National League (NNL) season after spending two years in the second tier division.
