GOMBE United has boost its strike force with the signing of ex-Rangers and Nasarawa United ace, Samuel Agba, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
Agba arrived Gombe State on Monday to finalized a deal with the Savannah Scorpions management.
Speaking with the club's Acting General Manager (Media &Publicity), Tanimu Umar on telephone: "The club has sealed up a deal with Samuel Agba.
"He did have his medicals today (Wednesday) and of course will put pen to paper.
"His choice is a bold move to strengthen our attack, as identified by the technical crew under Coach Manu Garba (OON)."
Recall the Scorpions did fail to sting at the just concluded Nigeria National League (NNL) Super4 which they hosted at the Pantami Stadium, losing on penalties to ABS FC and Remo Stars respectively.
The newly promoted side will kick-off it's campaign in the new Nigeria Premier League season against NNL Super4 champions, Kastina United in an away fixture.
